Vegan Sushi


  • Sushi Rice: 2 cups (wash it several times)
  • Water: 3 cups
  • Nori seaweed
  • Vegetables of your choice:
    • Roasted carrots
    • Cucumber
    • Paprika
    • Chives
  • Seeds:
    • Sesame
    • Chia
    • Linseed
  • Vegan mayonnaise
  • Soya sauce
  • Rice or Apple vinegar: 2 tsp
  • Salt: 1 tsp
  • Sugar: 2 tsp


  • Avocado
  • Wooden bowl
  • Sushi rolling mat
  • Rice maker

Preparation of Vegan Sushi

Preparing the rice

  • Wash the rice several times and Cook it
  • Spread on a wooden or glass casserole and add the mixture (vinegar, sugar, salt)
  • Cover with beeskin and let it cool down

Rice on seaweed sheet

  • When the rice is cooled, put onto a Nori seaweed sheet which must have the shiny side down. Helpful hint: Dip your fingers in water before handling the rice
  • Flip around the rice layer
  • Place all the ingredients that you prefer on top of the layer, try different combinations

Roll it!

Roll the sushi mat carefully until you fully wrap the fillings, wet your fingertips and mat to prevent rice from sticking

Cover it

Cover some rolls with chives pieces and seeds

Cut it!

Cut the rolls using a very sharp knife
